I met to a woman at datemefree.com. I emailed her and our correspondence started. When I received her 3rd email she told me that is interested in me. She didn’t send me the 4th Email, I did get an of her address but it was not hers rather it was sent by the Translating firm named “Consensus” .They told me that Marina was interested in me but I had to send money in order to continue the series, they said that unlimited Translation charges are 300US $ for 2 Months and provided me the postal address of Marina and the Telephone # of Consensus. I googled the postal address and it gave the result with SCAME cases. The address was the same as I was emailed but the woman were different as if all the woman were living in the same flat. I would venture to say that unless you have sent money, there is no way that criminal charges can be brought against anyone. It sounds to me that you have caught a scam before you were taken in. This is the reason why you are to be very wary when meeting someone on the internet. I am sure that most people who are looking for love and friendships online are true and honest, but like the old saying goes, "It takes a few dishonest ones to bring bad light to the many".

Here are a few tips on what to look out for when meeting someone online:

1) She moves too fast.
2) She tells you that she loves you even though she hasn't met.
3) Gives you a sad story about a family member of hers dying.
4) Want to have your children.
5) Want you to send money for plane fare so she can fly to see you.

Stick to women near where you live. It is much safer.

Might be better turning it over to the FBI and they will investigate it for fraud.
