My son has small white bumps on his inner cheek and a small rash on his chest. Could this be trush?

The bumps would be more like a white plaque across the inner cheeks...and you could scrap some off.

I don't think a rash is typical of thrush and thrush in the mouth is more like patches of white than white bumps. The patches are very hard to wipe away, but if you scrape hard enough, it is usually raw underneath. Your son probably has some kind of viral infection that is causing the rash. I'd get him evaluated by a pediatrician.

Thrush is painful, go to the doc right away. It is common, but it hurts. It is Friday, you will have to use like an urgent care. Worth it.
By the way, thrush does come as a rash. Go to Yahoo, click Images, type in baby thrush to see a picture.

yes actually it is easyer for smaller children to get it because they put everything on their mouth. I have not ever heard of a trush rash on the chest before though.

maybe - but give the doc. a call- the rash on the chest would concern me

my niece and nephew just got over it.. and she is 4 and he is 2.. but that rash on the chest.. don't know about.

Could be thrush . Was he taking any antibiotics? I would check w/ doctor just to be safe.
