My favorite meat would have to be the salmon steak I had while in Alaska on a trip. It was grilled over hickory coals and lightly basted with sauce that tasted like a blend of maple syrup, honey, and molasses with some local herbs.
We sat under a big roof with open ends and looked at Mount Denali while we ate.
The grill was also under the roof and you could smell the salmon sizzling on the grill the whole time you ate.
Talk about sensory overload!
It was absolutely luscious.
Unforgettable!!

Aren't we carnivores! Steak it is my man! A little red in the middle, sizzlin' crispy around the edges. Now just give me some of that Friday's sauce and I'm in heaven!!!! Does everyone know what Friday's is? Love that Jack Daniels sauce!!! Great, now I'm hungry!

I love a nice lean steak, cooked medium well. I like it pink inside, but not bloody. I really like it with garlic butter sauce and sauted (sp?) mushrooms. Man, now I am really hungry.

Definitely MOOSE! It's free if you live in Alaska and it's the lowest in fat of every kind of red meat. It's also east to prepare in any way possible!
