Well, from experience I can tell you that most likely its because we're scared. Insecurities are a very big part of why people feel the need to push each other away just when everything is finally falling into place. for a fact I know that if we are vunerable we dont want others to find out and expose them. thus we push each other away. Its human nature to be scared of feelings. whatever they may be.
