shown to you a religion, that is logical and follows common sence. Still no? so you belive in science? what if this religon can explain things through science? In the Holy Quran the message sent by god over 1400 years ago explains things hat science recently has proven. http://www.islamisforyou.com/science.shtml

THE SUN ROTATES
Consider the following Qur’anic verse:

“It is He Who created the Night and the Day, and the sun and the moon: All (the celestial bodies) swim along, each in its rounded course.”
[Al-Qur’an 21:33]

EMBRYOLOGICAL STAGES
“Man We did create from a quintessence (of clay); then We placed him as (a drop of) sperm in a place of rest, firmly fixed; then We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump; then We made out of that lump bones and clothed the bones with flesh; then We developed out of it another creature. so blessed be Allah, the Best to create!”
[Al-Qur’ an 23:12-14]

I'm afraid I'm not impressed. First off, most religions and worldviews through history have considered circular motion to be the way of the universe, even time and history were circular. Baby to adult to senior was helpless to able to helpless; circular. The hindus believe in reincarnation, circular. Circularity was the ancient way of looking at the universe; linear history was actually a hebrew idea to begin with. So, to say that all the celestial bodies go in a rounded course; not impressive. Not to mention... what if it just meant the sun went AROUND the earth, in a circular course????

As for the fetus thing; the muslims have a violent history. When you kill pregnant women with a sword (as often happened in the violent past, everywhere from North America to Europe to Muslim areas to Africa to Asia), it wouldn't be much of a stretch to see what was inside of a pregnant women. Not to mention slaughtering animals. Even now, animals used for dissection in biology classrooms are obtained by taking them from mothers who were slaughtered for food.

P.S. the flesh was formed, then the bones. So for the koran to say that the bones formed, then they were covered with flesh is... well, incorrect, and inaccurate.

Even if these were impressive, that says nothing about the rest of the koran. I've seen the other 'proofs'... personally, I find these 'scientific proofs' of the koran to be.... ridiculous.

God created. Genesis God loves us. John three:sixteen I are not able to feel we got here from not anything. The large bang concept. Is simply that. Theory is not continually a reality. I would not be right here or else. You would possibly consider I'm naive. Faith comes from listening to. So via the a while; in which could such a lot of men and women move unsuitable? Or are they. Even Doctor's are finding out the human frame is a complicated sort and is a universe of it is possess. Everything operating. Either you do feel or you do not. The Bible is not a fairy story. As a few would possibly consider. The Bible has it is possess evidence. It's precise or it isn't? You have got to make that alternative. For me it is reality. That's it. Read the guide. If you open your brain and enable God to exhibit you....as Paul Harvey used to mention. And that is the leisure of the tale.

Maybe there is and maybe there isn't. How can we know?

We are nothing but ants in an anthill. Can the ants know what's going outside of their world? Hardly.

My opinion is that the concept of god came about because people have an inherent need to feel like someone out there is watching out for them. We need to feel that if we get hurt, a loving, nurturing "parent" will be there to pick us up, wipe away the tears and apply a Band-aid to our skinned knee.

While some of us grow to depend less and less on this "parent", others continue to feel the need to continue clinging.

Another factor is that in our culture, Judeo-Christian religion has strong ties. It is where many people have their psycho-social needs met. Being a "Christian" is somehow equated with honesty, trust-worthiness and honor. Haven't we all heard someone say, "Just look at Johnny...he's such a fine Christian boy!"

It's unfortunate that so many people who believe in God feel the need to limit him/her to JUST Judeo-Christian religion. I doubt that any of us has heard someone say, "Just look at Johnny...he's such a fine Buddhist/Muslim/Hindu boy!"

But so many people don't think about this! They think that Judeo-Christian religion is THE only true religion. Why do they believe this way? Because that's the only thing they know. Does the little Turkish girl think that Christianity is her only path? NO! She follows what she's been exposed to also. In her case, that is Islam.

Is there a God?

I don't know and no one can definitively tell you the answer. YOU, and only you, have to decide what to believe.

The good news is that you don't have to decide today...maybe not ever. Life is a journey! The really important decisions SHOULDN'T be made quickly.

Take some time and do some thinking. Study various religions. See what answers you can find and enjoy the process of growth along the way!

I personally would believe in god if I, FOR SURE, knew that he existed. Yet science hasn't proven god, only Christ. I know that people would also believe if there was actual fact that he was, or is there. But right now all that society has is a book, that man wrote. Everyone wants to know if he's really there just because Christ has been embedded into our minds since we were infants with Christmas and Easter. Yet because most people want to have undeniable, tangible, proof. We just simply don't believe in god. But the whole point of dedicating yourself to Christ is FAITH. It's not the easiest thing to have faith in something like that for everyone.

But the day that happens, when god does show up, it probably won't be for the right reasons. It'll be to save themselves, and that is probably the hardest part when there is an option of having faith.

What is logic and common sense to you may not be logic and common sense to me. We would need common experience to agree...maybe.

I choose to acknowledge that the existence of "God" and human spiritually has a very high probability. For humans to try and put a definition on what is unexplainable only takes us further away from our own spirituality.

In your "Embryological Stages" example it states, "We made the sperm into a clot of congealed blood; then of that clot We made a (foetus) lump..." How macho... This statement sows the seeds of reducing women's role in our world to insignificance. It's no dam wonder that in cultures that abuse women, the men are running around killing one another. By negating the potential for spiritual bonding between the sexes, how can one ever find the spirituality within themselves? or with God?

The Quran is full of ridiculous statements that are false. Anyone claiming the quran is true has decided to ignore facts.

Which was created first, heaven or earth?

Heaven ???

79:27-30
Are ye the harder to create, or is the heaven that He built? He raised the height thereof and ordered it; And He made dark the night thereof, and He brought forth the morn thereof. And after that He spread the earth....

Or Earth ???

2:29
He it is Who created for you all that is in the earth. Then turned He to the heaven, and fashioned it as seven heavens.

41:9-12
Say (O Muhammad, unto the idolaters): Disbelieve ye verily in Him Who created the earth in two Days ... Then turned He to the heaven ... Then He ordained them seven heavens in two Days ....

I have no doubt that God exists. I simply do not believe in any man-made religion, especially one that promotes killing "infidels" for a reward of 72 virgins. Who cares about primitive science found in your man-made "Holy Quran"? There is absolutely no proof of that book being written or inspired by God.

I do believe in God with all my heart, and you do not have to prove anything to me. For I know by faith that He lives in my heart, and that He is there every time that I need Him, and He will never leave me nor forsake me. His true existance does not have to be proven to me, by physical and natural signs, because He is one who will live in a person's heart by faith, through his Holy Spirit; and His presence can be felt. He is the One who proves it to me; everyday; by his many blessings, by the joy and comfort which I feel when I read his Holy Word, and when I give Him praise.

No one can prove any gods' existences. Reciting verses of Koran, Bible, Bhagivadgita, Tao Te Ching, Eddas, etc. proves nothing at all. Science finds real knowledge. Religion offers only groundless beliefs and pretenses of knowledge.
