actually in Ohio there are a lot of Amish people, so many that they are buying land in Kentucky and branching into homebuilding and carpentry, they don't believe in birth control and they are needing more room

I have met alot of Amish and some are not so nice to thier animals but most of the ones I have met, or know are very caring of thier animals and even some of them spoil thier animals at times, I know they have thier own ways of raising, training and caring for thier animals and I have also learned that there are a few different types of Amish too.

I was not aware the amish were known for being cruel to their animals , so I do not understand your question

Yes some, there are some that are not also. I remember one old Swiss that told me once that he thought Rodeo cattle roping was wrong because you should not play with your food. (It took me a moment to realize he was poking fun)
