to go somewhere with out travelling, to recive some thing with out sending, to reach some place with out actually going,
yes am talking about telepot, do you think it's actually possible, i mean can we be telepoted to some place with out actually going, just go to the destination with out travelling,

Actually, if you create one at another place like the same here, will mean more of a cloaning than of teleportation, and destroying the original can be something that i don't think will be possible, still the answers were almost the same what i thought, as the experts say, even to put this question of "what is teleportation" may take another 100 years, it's really tough to expect a great answer, as he says in dreams, like the mind travels faster, anyways, some answers are really cool, thanks,

I know a group of scientists (Anton Zellinger et al.) wired money using entagled photons (it's kind a like teleporting photons to transmitt information). This quantum information technology is emerging field, but information can't be delievered instantaneously (faster than speed of light). Teleportation via entaglement can be done with just atom or small group of atoms.

Google quantum information, entaglement, quantum encryptions... etc

Right now, research is actually on-going for teleportation. The last published article said that scientist is already able to teleport an atom. However, the method is to study the pattern of an atom in one location and then induce another atom at another location to become the same as the 1st atom. For them to be able to do it on even an ant will takes years! Maybe you and I will not be around to see it but yes, it is possible.

In response to the above answer - I don't think it'd work quite that easily, as Heisenberg's uncertainty principle prevents us from nailing down exact characteristics about any atom. So, if we were to study one atom, and then impose the conditions we see upon another atom - we could only make generalizations, and get a loose "copy" of our subject. Besides, if we could spontaneously change certain characteristics of an atom, it'd be just like alchemy. There would be no need to ever mine gold or enrich uranium, as we could simply synthesize it.

Now, I could ramble on for a long, long time about quantum entanglement and quantum teleportation. But, I'll spare you that and give you a few links that you can browse on your own time.

Enjoy, and I hope these help!

they haven't invented the teleporter . remember the movie The Fly had the same idea. or a time traveller machine such as Back to the future

everything is made of atoms.to telepot me destroy my each atom here.using the same exact combination of atoms create me there.and i will be the same.my memory, the last food i ate,my heart,my feelings everything will be same....in coming time it will be possible scientifically .but doesnt ur mind travel everywhere without actually travelling?
