I understand your frustration. I am an American of Mexican descent. My father came to this country legally.
This is the view I have for illegal aliens. There are many illegals that come to the U.S. wanting to behave the same way as in their Country. Unacceptable. I am a very proud person and am ashamed of what is going on. I have a saying: the time I go to your Country are the times I want you to come to mine. I believe if the government gave more breaks to all the Employers, incentives not to hire illegal aliens, we would get rid of them, no work, no money, no food, no place to live in. Gotta go home. As an American citizen if I commit a crime I go to jail, I will be punished. If I am an illegal alien I run for the border. This has to stop. Regarding the Minute Man I applaud them nobody likes somebody to be pooping in their back yard.
This is a serious problem, and we need a serious piece of legislation to fix it.

I'm sure the majority of the people hope there will be no violence. Having said that, this is like an avalanche that begins slowly, with little strength...then quickly picks up speed and power until it becomes positively explosive.
What concerns me is that these events have been deliberately set up knowing the outcome will be violence and then Marshal Law. When marshal law is declared we will literally be in a dictatorship with George Bush expanding his already out-of-control powers.
AS FOR THE BLITHERING IDIOT POSTED ABOVE ME....
I know a woman who is now in her 70's..she is from England and lived through WWII...and believe me...ignorant one....we were VERY much wanted and needed over there. YOU can thank us for whatever freedoms you enjoy today...you social ingrate....
SO our good men died to preserve England for your sorry butt.

In England during the war there was a saying
There is only 3 things wrong with Americans
The Americans are over sexed
The Americans are over paid
And the Americans are over here.
When Americans start staying in America then preach.
Your not wanted in Iraq or any of the other countries you have decided to help.Do the demonstrations in those nations sink in?

I am Hispanic and its really a shame you feel this way about immigrants.....You want to define America on your own terms....Well that is not what America is about....
America will always have diversity, you can't have a democracy with out diversity. People will always migrate here, legally and illegally....If you don't like that, I suggest you move to a pure white European country, GOOD LUCK!

What I don't understand is why American hispanics would defend illegals. Wouldn't they eventually be competing for the same jobs? Wouldn't an American hispanic lose his job to an illegal because illegals will take less pay?

It's bound to happen unfortunately ... it's not a question of if, it's a question of when ... and it will be brought about by the racist organizations who organized the illegals and their pathetic marches ... that's what they want, to show up how "cruel" we are to the Hispanics ... these organizations with their own agendas care as little about the people they are supposed to represent as our own administration care about the American people ... they are just cannon fodder, and I wish they'd wake up and realize that ...

it costs money to become a us citizen, so people from mexico who cant afford to come legally come illegally, and if there is violence against hispanics, legally or not, it better not be where i live, because i will hurt anyone who is negative against my mom and friends(i live close to the by the border so, almost all of my school is atleast half mexican or more)
