I'm sure most have heard that Madonna's crucifix routine on her latest tour has gotten a lot of people up in arms. Now, she's due to perform in Rome very soon and the Catholic church has threatened her with ex-communication from the church if she performs the routine there. Do you think they'll actually do it?

I do not even exactly know why she does the whole crucifix routine anyway. I think it is all publicity and even though she is not affiliated with the Catholic Church, I do not think that it gives her the right to do that kind of shameful act towards the Catholic Church. It's not true that she does not care because if she doesn't, then why would she bother, right? As for the excommunication part, I hope the Catholic church does give it to her so that even if she does the whole shameful act again, it won't matter as much because she will not be able to repent later and go back to the Catholic church.

Automatic excommunication happens when Catholics commit certain offensives. This happens as soon as the offence is committed.

Madonna was automatically excommunicated when she committed Apostasy, the formal renunciation of one's religion.

Madonna has publicly admitted that she has converted to Kabbalah.

There is no reason for the Catholic Church to excommunicate Madonna. She has done it all by herself.

With love in Christ.

Yes, but maybe not, I mean look at her Papa Don't Preach video from the 80's... WAIT A MINUTE she's not catholic!! She's kabballah..uhm..ist..(sp?) So like it matters a lick to her!

They're daring her to do it so, more than likely, she'll do it. She practices Kaballah anymore so I doubt she would care (that much) about the Church excommunicating her...if they even do.

Is ex-communication relevant in the times we live in. On your list of important things, how important is that to you to care about?

They do it, and she won't find peace in her last days. Ha, ha.
She's getting ugly anyway and old by the minute, her time is almost done. There were time when I used to..... but her or me is out now.
