Christian. I believe that Christianity is the only religion that teaches about eternal life through a Saviour, whereas, other religions teach that through one's goodness they can live a blissful eternity. How do you measure one's "goodness"? What is minimum "goodness" that one has to achieve in order to be in the good graces of one's own god? My GOD says that I can do nothing to earn my way to heaven.
I don't know if this answer is sufficient, but, this is one among many reasons I believe what I believe.

I am a witch. Why, because after exploring all the various christian faiths and some exotic ones (hindu, buddhist ect) this one is the only one that answers my questions with out the pat answer of Pray and ask or look it up. It made sense to me and I was called to it. It is hard to explain the calling but It was the most wonderful feeling I had ever experienced. The witch community I am a part of is very loving, and most important of all the elders are accessible up to and including the founders. They are only a phone call or email away. They will answer any questions I have and never ever make me feel like an idiot for asking any type of question. Also The rules are few but cover any situation. The main one is "An it harm none, do what you will"

I am Pagan.
Why, because I experianced all aspects of the religion and loved it. It showed me that I can have a religion to believe in and it wouldnt be stories in a book. It is spiritual, loving and nurturing. Respecting the earth and others. And you can feel more, see more and experiance more.
I was not happy as a Christian. When my friend introduced me to Wicca, my life began again. I feel at peace and my spirit, my body and my mind is healing and I am healing my issues with the help of my social group. Such as my Shyness, they helped me with that so much, and my self esteem is healing wonderfully.
Anyways. I feel right as a Pagan, and I would never turn my back on it. Also, I do still respect the chrisitan faith, just dont like some of the things it teaches.
I am a see it to believe it person. And when converting to this faith, I saw it, I felt it, and I loved it!
Thank the Lord and Lady for showing me this path! :)
Blessed Be !

I am a muslim. The reason why I'm a muslim is very simple. I like to kill. I like to blow things up and to bomb all that stands in my path. When I am done killing everything in the world, I will have to kill myself because I would be the only thing left in the world to kill. I moved to the USA so that I could annoy all the Americans by walking around with a towel on my head. I am currently assembling my latest weapon. It's a cart that can carry a ton of TNT, can be wheeled very easily and can be hidden very well. I call it the "Allah Cart". It should be able to kill many Americans. I am also a muslim because it's a peaceful religion.

I'm a practicing Christian (I need a lot of practice), with a little more thrown in
I choose christianity because the stories and lifestyle of Jesus and God have been around my whole life. Having said this, my mum brought me up with alot of morals and life values that sometimes contradict what im suppose to do as a Christian. It is sometimes a hard thing to do. But I'm trying because that is what i want to believe.
i also believe in the power of destiny and karma, not wholly but it is apart of my belief

An unusual mix.
There are so many religions out there, and they all think they're "right".
I think that God speaks to each of us in the language we need to hear. You don't talk to someone in a desert about polar bears, and you don't speak about mountain goats to someone in the praries, so everyone hears the words they need when they need them.
None of them are wrong. If you look at all religions (not just all christian religions) and look for all the similar elements, then I think you begin to understand what God is really like. Peel away all the stuff he adds for others, and you can start to see the root.

I follow Islam because it makes sense to me. A man supports his family while his adored wife raises the children. Housework is shared, and it's not the wife's duty. The wife has the right to work and keep all of her earnings since she doesn't get paid for all of the work she does inside of the house. She is not responsible for anything financial. Even if she is a millionaire, her husband must support her. Mothers are honored. Children are to listen to their mothers first before they listen to their fathers. In the case of divorce, mother gets first right to custody, followed by mother's mother and then mother's mother's mother. Father comes fourth in line. A man must be kind to his wife. If he hates something in her, then he hates "something in which God has placed a great deal of good". If a wife isgoing through PMS, he is not supposed to hold it against her or keep at it. he is supposed to just let it go and pray she feels better. When pregnant, the husband is supposed to do everything possible to keep her comfortable and happy. Upon birth, he is supposed to help out greatly and if he can't, then get somebody who can.

Religion I assume?
I'm agnostic. There is no way to know definitively whether god exists or not, and what the nature of god is. Indeed, it is only through faith (or possibly through a miscalculation in logic) that people can believe to know "the truth." And those without faith become Agnostic (those with faith in nothing, rather than no faith, are athiest). Of course, technically, I have faith in not being able to know, but that's the paradox that makes my philosophical outlook so viable. The "one exception to the rule" so to speak.
Besides, I don't have faith in anything else.

I don't claim any religion but I have studied many. I would call myself more spiritual than religious. I choose not to label myself because I don't wish to be held separate from my brothers and sisters all over the world.

I am a Wiccan priestess, because I have dedicated my life to worshiping God and the Goddess, serving Them, and helping and healing and guiding others, regardless of their faith, sex, sexual orientation, race, etc. I found my way to my path when I was 12, I began my year and a day of study and became an apprentice, learning, helping, discussing and re-learning the ancient knowledge of my ancestresses, and honoring them by continuing their work. Blessings upon you.
