I've been trying to find out what this is, but I haven't yet. I've never made it, but I've eaten it before, so I'm not TOO sure what's in it. It's like, meat and stuff inside of bread. I think it's a german food.

I am almost positive it's German. And no, it's NOT a sandwich, sandwiches are not meat wrapped in bread

I think I said I didn't know what meat it was, or what else was in it. It's none of those though...it's soft bread too.

My friend gave me one, one day. I would LOVE to ask him, but I live a couple hundred miles away from him, don't know his number, and he's never on the computer...so I'm sorry, but that's all the info I can give you.
and please stop suggesting it's a sandwich, I know what it is, and I said it's GERMAN.

this may be what you are looking for.
It is called Pirozhki (peh-RAWSH-kee) small Russian turnovers with pastry wrapper enclosing various savory meats.
Perogi are larger versions.
You can find them in specialty markets and some larger supermarkets.
To make go to www.recipesource.com enter peroshki (spelled with an s) this will give the dough recipe along with a few different fillings.
Enjoy.

There are many foods with meat and stuff inside bread.
"Shooters Sandwich" is English. You hollow out a loaf of bread, and put leftover roast beef slices, some mushrooms, and gravy inside, then compress overnight and slice it up.
"Beef wellington" is english also. Bake some Tenderloin inside a flaky crust with jus.
Po'boy is american. It's like a shooters sandwich only you use clams instead of beef.
The french have many meats that are cooked "En croute" as well.
If you can give more information, it might help.. What kind of meat, what kind of bread, what are the spices like, what's it called.

Meat and stuff inside of bread sounds like a sandwich to me.
There is an Italian bread called Calzone which is basically a pizza with a filling rather than a topping. You can use practically anything as a filling. Here is a Tomato, Mozzarella and Basil recipe for mini-calzones:

And some recipes with almost anything you like to mention:

From your vague description, I would suggest that it is a sandwich. I believe named after the Earl.
Get some more information eg. From where it was obtained;
From what type of store it was obtained;
or even ask the person from whom it was acquired.
It could also be one of the following:-
Hotdog
Hamburger
Kebab
Filafel
Pita Bread

Actually it sounds like Pita bread stuffed with meat and veggies..This is basically middle-eastern food. Turkish immigrants have imported it to Germany.
The original would be lamb, spices and vegetables of your choice
