My son will be 12 yrs old in a few months. He is going to the 6th grade ( Birthday in Dec). He makes good grades, loves to swim at the boys and Girls club, sings on the youth choir at church, loves his new baby Sister. He is not perfect, but he makes me proud. I want to give him a special gift for his 12th birthday.. OK men please help me.

For my son's last birthday we bought him a season pass, (actually we bought all three of our kids one) to a favorite amusement park. It was a gift to him, and it made him crazy happy but it also gave us something to do when we had free time as a family without putting out anymore money. We ended up paying just $10 more for a season pass then we would have for a single day ticket and we got the end of last years season and all of this years season included. We piced kings dominion, ( a six flags park) and it also has a water park. He really enjoyed it. and has enjoyed taking friends along occasionally.

Either a new video game system or a special day that is all about him and his interests. For my son's birthday I made his favorite breakfast, took him to an arcade and gave him 2 rolls of quarters, went to his favorite resturant for lunch, went to a Braves game, came home and grilled, then had cake and ice cream at home. He loved it and it was filled with all of his favorite things. At the end of the day I spent less than $100.
