Is this a live-in Nanny or a live-out Nanny? How many hours per week is she working? Remember you'll need to pay in social security taxes on her, etc. How many kids will she be caring for?
All these factors need to be considered as well as the area of the country you are living in. Are you providing her with a car or is she providing her own? If it's her own- you'll need to pay her more so she can do the upkeep on the vehicle as well as insurance too. Anywhere from $300 to $1,000 per week- depending on the factors involved.

I was a Nanny a few times but i came into the home never lived there in any of the homes, drove my own cars, took care of 3 kids in each case. some of the familys were 3 days a week and others were full time. I did not have to cook or clean just care for the kids and take them places every now and again and i made about 20,000 -30,000 per year on them depending which family i was working for.

It depends on the requirements for the position as "nanny." How many children are you expected to take care of? How many hours per day are you expected to work? There's several factors to consider. Most likely, a qualified and responsible person should be able to collect whatever the prevailing wage is. What are other people in this field charging?

Is it a live in nanny, or just a daytime nanny?

A live in nanny maybe 8 an hour, while one that travels to the home should get 10-12.

A live in nanny should have her own room, and have a phone and tv in her room.

Depends on the income of the family who hires you. Normally, you should make at least $20,000 per year or else you could get another job, right?

Some nannies get treated very well, even given cars. It just depends.
