Roughly 3 square feet per person on average, give or take six inches...

There's a good Math lesson here, I think! How many square miles is Santa Ana? How many feet in a mile? divide that by 3 sq. ft. per person, and you will have a good guesstimate of how many people, if crammed in like sardines, could live in Santa Ana. I really do not think people would CHOOSE this particular lifestyle...but you did ask, "could," and not "would."

I am certainly not other people and will not choose for them where they want to, choose to or must, live. I am only taking up my three sq.ft. here for a short time.
