Don't live in Washington, that's what I learned. Ok no really. I know this is going to sound kind of harsh, but I can't believe that someone who had so much could feel so sorry for himself. There are people who are not attractive, who are poor, have jobs cleaning all day, who have gone through child abuse etc. who ARE happy. And he had EVERYTHING and just threw it away?! He must have been EXTREMELY mentally ill. Things can't make you happy. You just have to decide to be happy, or decide not to be. You can't keep blaming your unhappiness on other people in your life, and your circumstances. Somewhere, there is someone who has it worse than you, who is making it work and is happy.

I learned that depression and drugs are very powerfull. At the time of his death, there where millions of people that would give anything to find him happiness. Millions of people loved him what he did for music as we know it and this damned mind trick (depression) and drugs combined caused him to end his life. So what I have learned is to hold on to my life and live it to its fullest. I love listen to Cobains music, and only imagine if he lived longer what he could have accomplished.

I don't know what I may have learned... maybe that fame is too much pressure for some... our culture uses up and spits out our celebrities.... I don't know, but I know it was terribly sad... I wish he had had the strength to pull away from the limelight and get some help. Felling he had no choice but to leave everyone, even leaving his wife a baby girl... it's just so sad. :( Blessings upon you, and him, and yours.

Get help instead of suicide. He is missing out on his daughters and I'm sure they could have used a father instead of an icon.
