very simple mathamatic pattern....
your adding the numbers together to gain the next numerical
eg..... 1+0=1
1+1=2
1+2=3
3+2=5
5+8=13
8+13=21
13+21=34
and so on...............

Answer is 4 because u r jst adding the last number with its previous number... so the last number is 3 and its previous number is 1.. so 3+1 = 4

easy, 1 + 1 = 2, 2 + 1 = 3, 3 + 5 =8, 8 + 5 = 13
