I need a disease, preferrably caused by poor diet, genetics and lack of exercise (lifestyle stuff), that would make the person extremely weak. I think I'm looking for something like cancer that kills gradually anyway but if you get pregnant with this disease, you basically don't stand a chance of living at all...? It's not for homework so feel free to shoot in any ideas. Such a disease might not exisit, but I'm hoping for some suggestions.

There's Pre-Eclampsia (spell) that will kill someone who is pregnant. It has something to do with high blood pressure that gets out of control.

Something like Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy patients, or any patient with heart disease that is congenital can be killed by pregnancy.
Also it is more dangerous for people with Marfans and other associated risks for aortic dissections.
The other people who really have to worry about pregancy are those with blood dyscrasias.. The ones that are hypercoagulable... Because they will throw blood clots, stroke out, and die.

How about a Chronic Renal Failure Patient on Hemodialysis? These patients require dialysis 3 times a week for several hours each time. These patients are strongly urged to not get pregnant.
