I like this guy on my year round swim team who's two years older than me. I'm a freshman and he's a junior. He's offered me rides and waited with me once for my mom to come pick me up. I've never accepted any of his rides and then he just stopped offering. I've never shown any signs that I like him in any way cause I'm pretty shy around him. He'll ask me questions like how my weekend went and I'll give him one word answers. Even if he did like me before, I don't think he does now. I still like him. What do I do?

Well, try to stop being shy. Say something more than one worded answers when he asks. It's difficult, I know, but thats what you'd have to do for him to like you more.

Just start chatting up with him and find out if he's single. He won't bite you, I promise. If you don't have anything you're comfortable saying, ask him a question and steer the conversation from there. If he is single, just ask him for a ride home or something. I think he'll get the hint that you like him, especially if you seem happy to see him. Good luck!

Just open the door alittle bit for him. Ask him in advance for a ride home the next day (say your mom has an appointment or something). That will give you the night to get over being nervous and should make it easier to talk to him. Good Luck.

Well, I would try to create a good friendship with him. All good relationships start with friendship and trust. You two are on the swim team. Well, try to find out some other things you two like to do. Also, ask him a few questions for a change. "How has your day been?" Stuff like that. Show that you are interested.

Remember to start a friendship and build on that! I hope I helped!

Be friends and let things develop naturally from there. Don't rush it! Savor the little things that turn into the bigger things!

Decide what your goal is (e.g. to date him) and then take actions in alignment with your goal.

Being a negative, one-word answer, hostile thing won't do it.
