According to the Bible if you don't wear the mark you are not going to be able to buy nor sell, and you are going to get killed.

People have been saying that is going to be a microchip inserted into your skin, (forearm), and that it could serve as a credit card and contains other kinds of informations like medical etc.

People used to think years ago that the regular credit cards were the 666 but now everybody is using it now and nothing has happened.

People come up with all sorts of different suspicions and such. We know that there will be some way of telling who has the mark, but I'm not sure what that is. 666 is not the mark of the devil, however. It is not a number to fear or anything like that. The Bible says that 666 is the number of the Antichrist's name. It is the number resulting from a system called gemetria. It was used a long time ago to decipher the number of a person's name. Jesus ended up being 888. Different letters were different numbers, and you'd just add them together. Nobody's precisely certain now what the exact number system is. Also, if we did know, it doesn't necessarily prove that a person whose name ends up 666 is the Antichrist. Several different names can end up the same number. In one theory of what the gemetrial system is provides that COMPUTER ends up being 666...but I highly doubt the computer is the Antichrist. You just have to keep your eyes and ears open, and tune into the signs that Christ gave as to who the Antichrist is when he arrives on the scene.

well I believe that if this soo called microchip was going to be placed in anyone I think that is should be placed in children and used as an gps (global positioning system). I think this would be a great and wonderful idea so then we would not have anymore kidnappings and/or missing children in this world. If our child went missing we would no longer be worrying for hours, days, months or even years to find out where our child actually is. Some unfortunate parents even after years and years still don't know where their children are...whether dead or alive. I think that this would be such a Great Idea even if godforbid a parent finds their child dead at least the parent would have closure.

As far as credit card information is concerned I think that is just ridiculous.

However for Medical this might be a good idea as well for the such people that aren't coherent ...and then the dr.s would know exactly what their medical condition may or may not be.

also, this could work well in the elderly.

It's a possibility. In a memo dated November 22, 2005 San Bernardino County started a pilot program in which micochips made by VeriChip Corp. will be inserted into outpatients on a voluntary basis.

These chips will carry a 16 digit number that Dr's can use to get medical history from a patient that comes into the emergency room unconcious.

Will it be the Sign of the Beast? Not sure, but it's a good possibility.

I don't think so myself. It seems like a lot of trouble to go to. From what I understand according to the bits I've read over the years from a zealot point of view we're all damned anyway. So why bother with all the singing and dancing about anti-Christ and marks of the devil, if we are going into eternal torment regardless; it just doesn't seem efficient or plausible. I've known some very evil people and everyone of them was very efficient, I equate the two things together. Not really the easiest thing to do logistically as well. Getting everyone on board for the same topping of pizza takes negotiation, how could this ever be organized? The Christians wouldn't be too keen on signing up for this and a lot of those cats have guns! Who is going to Africa to micro chip the people of the Congo or Rwanda, I'd like to see that! How about the billion Chinese, are they going to line up for a free trip to a Christian version of hell too, it would seem unlikely to me. No, I think we're safe from the micro chip worries about the mark of the beast. If however you hear about any of the things that I've expressed as unlikely beginning to happen please accept my apology and run. Run hard and run fast! Old Lucy will be hot on your tail looking to micro chip you for sure!

I think we should all be microchipped. I mean unless you are doing something wrong who cares if someone can track you (like the proper authorities, not just random stalkers). I'd rather deal with that and be able to immediately find a missing person. Just think about all the families who have lost someone, I bet they'd all agree to be mircochipped for the rest of their lives if it meant preventing the same loss again.

nothing has happened because we have not yet received the credit card microchip into our skin of our hand, head, etc. I think it is coming to that very soon. I think bar codes are the 666.

Although I strongly oppose the chip, no I don't believe it will be the mark of the beast. The mark will be visible for all to see and you won't be able to see the microchip. It's just a simpler way to keep up with everyone and know their personal business--a little too modernized for me!

The Bible is a flawed man-made book. I need not say more as that alone answers your mythical questions. If you believe in what you say, you should throw away you computer, your car, watches, clocks, televisions, and all other home appliances that run on microchips.

We don't really know for sure. But even your groceries are monitored now when you use your grocery store card. This will prevent you from buying for someone else. Telephone's are monitored. This last week I learned that your bank account is monitored and if there is any change in it the bank is required by our government (USA) to report and possibly freeze the account. The law is very strict on this and the bank could loose its banking rights if they don't report something.

The bible is a fictional book, just like George Orwell's 1984. No need to worry.
