We REALLY need to eradicate religion, and put this nonsense behind us. Don't you realize, yet, just how dangerous religion is?
Come on folks! It's all well and good to think that you're just 'hedging your bets' or 'playing it safe' by hanging on to some old god myth. But religion is dangerous. Just look at all the trouble it causes. Look at all the grief, the hate, the waste of time, energy, and money. Look at how it holds humans back from reaching their potential. Look at all the arguing and fighting and killing, over something that doesn't even exist.
It's time. We've been moving in this direction for the last 500 years, and now it's time. Time to put this silliness behind us, and admit that there are no gods; That there never have been gods; That religion is not only unnecessary, but wasteful and dangerous as well.

Why are you trying to promote discord with faith-based questions in a secular forum--asked with such an attitude? Such displays turn off, rather than encourage those , other than Believers. It is already established that this site is shared by Christians, Muslims, Hindus and people calling themselves atheist because many have been turned off by that type of "inner-court language' that even some of faith do not fully understand. As a result, when non-Christians ask you a question in secular terms you cannot translate your understandings, so you quote "inner-court' language to those on the fringes. it is the equivalent to a doctor not only writing his prescription in "Doctorese" but answering you and communicating with you in the same jargon. If you are not equipped to teach, then restrict your faith-based questions to those who understand you because a person who does not want to or who tries to understand you will ask you back in his medium and all you will have is in-congruent barbs trading back and forth. It is already happening.
Be wise in the things of God. each one teach one and remember that iron sharpeneth iron. Use God's tools wisely.

You can count on it. Many people and nations today do not believe in God, and believe that they can refuse to believe in God and in Jesus Christ, and never have a thing to worry about. But I can assure you that the day is coming when every person of every nation will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. All that many people like to do now is to make a mockery of his name, and of his Holy Word, and make jokes about Him in every way. But the day is coming soon, when they will never forget every idol word which they spoke against Him.

Look wabbit, I am a Christian, my husband is a pastor so I am very aware of the above - but you won't win souls here with this. It only incites hatred and reinforces what the unbelievers see as Bible thumping--which in turn closes their mind even further -do you want to be a part of that?
Why not answer their questions, intelligently, carefully and kindly. We believe, but hitting them over the head with it won't convert people. Christ didn't do it that way.

how am I supposed to know, I'm agnostic.
Look, you're Christian, you know the answer you want to hear. If I say no, you'll just say I'm ignorant and wrong. If I say yes, you simply agree with me. You've made your decision, so I really have to ask why you're asking the question? To gather the faithful? To support to will of god? Valid purposes I suppose, but rather dubious in nature.

I await the day of his coming and pray I get to see the look on some of the faces that deny God or Jesus exists. I look forward to that day where the die hard belief in God and his Christ will be justified before the whole world.
AMEN!

All I can say to the skeptics is, "Never say never!" I confess that Jesus is Lord voluntarily and with great love and joy, and I will continue to do so throughout eternity.
Those who will not now, one day will. Trust me. Remember this post. You will either do so willingly or under duress.
