Math might help. Fouriers come in usful at some stages. But its upto you. Math is essential but u don't need volume integrals and such stuff.... why not a management minor to get you an allround education?

If it was not essential at the time of admission for this course, just learn what you are learning now. Little maths would help you, and you must be good in computers with the knowledge of telnet, dos, and stuffs like that. In the modern telecommunication technology, all are IP based and most of the companies are going for Voice over IP. There are lotta programming involved once you are joined in any telecom companies. Dont worry, Just have those ideas and once you get a job with any of them, they will train you about the products. Now just conceterate on the stuffs you are in.
