Well there actually IS no end to a rainbow. You are only seeing a bit of the arc of a full circle. This was understood quite early by people in Ireland and the original saying was more along the lines of " You might as well try to find the end of a rainbow" can't remember the whole story to this, myself, but there IS one. So Sending someone to look for gold at the END of a rainbow was basically sending them on a wild goose chase.

when u reach the rainbow's end, say "leprechaun, bring me some gold. Otherwise, I'll start to mold."
the gold will appear within 10 seconds after you recite this rhyme.

God set the bow in the clouds. Read it in Genesis in the Bible, the first book of the Bible. Why the cursing? Be mature. Curse words only make you look bad.
