Very good question and point well made! We are to love EVERYONE because God loves them. We don't have to agree with their lifestyle, beliefs, or anything else but we are not to name-call, belittle, point fingers or ridicule anyone. We are to love and be tolerant.

We are not freed from the Law, we are freed from the JUDGMENT of the Law, which is eternal death for any infraction. Jesus Himself taught that the Law is eternal, and that freedom from it's death sentence is only possible through belief in Him and repentance from sin.

I think that too many people are 'Christophobic', thinking that because Christians speak out regarding the things which God calls sin, that Christian's hate people and are trying to put them down. There may be some that are, but there are many who's only intent is to lift people up into the heavenly places. That's not hate, that's LOVE!

I think it has less to do with religion and more to do with conservative people who fear those that are different from themselves
