You need to read your school's policy on plagiarism. Some schools do consider this "Self-plagiarism" like Miami University, Ohio where my sister went. The school must publish its policy for all students so it's clear what is and isn't considered plagiarism. You can find the policy on the school website usually under Academic Honesty and in the General Bulletin.

Don't just go by what people even people at your school say. Go by what's printed. That way if there's a dispute, you can point to a book or print out that the school wrote up.

You should improve the papers even if handing them is okay.

It's not plagiarism as such, but the only reason I can think that you would be retaking a course is if you failed the first time. In that case you'd probably be best not to just resubmit the work that made you fail last time if you expect to pass this time.

Otherwise you should just apply for an exemption.

No, I don't think any University would get anywhere claiming you plagiarized.

However, by not doing the assignment, you are basically using a quirk
of events to get around doing your homework which is supposed to teach
you how to do whatever it is the course work is on better.

The argument that you've already done it so you shouldn't need to do it
again won't wash if you are re-taking the course because you didn't pass it
the first time.

Why do you have to retake the course?
Perhaps your work the first time was not good enough therefore you should try and improve your work not just resubmit it!

No that is not plagiarism. Copying almost verbatim is plagiarism. Re-submitting your own work is recycling.

Review your universities submissions criterion carefully as every university has different rules. At Queen's university that IS plagarism and can get you booted from the 'tution.

No, you are neither copying anybody's work nor stealing anybody's notes. All you are doing is just resubmitting the same old work for the new course, you're one lazy A..S..S...

if you have to take the course again...then i would redo the stuff. there's a reason why you didn't pass it the first time.

No, it's only plagarism if you submit someone else's work as your own.
