I am bad at telling whether someone is interested in me. How can I tell that a guy likes me for more than a friend vs. just a friend.

What do I look for?

Help!!!!

If a guy shows interest in what your feelings are and pays attention to every detail you say or do-be attentive to your needs

In a general way, the answer is pretty simple: if he hangs out with you, he wants to give it a shot.

Men are simlpe creatures, that would rather spend time with other guys because it's a simpler environment. Nonetheless, guys will bear with the complexity of a female only if they care.

And friendship for guys towards females tends to be just a hope for 'something more' that is either pending approval or has been blocked by some external factor.

Bottom line: if he hangs out with you, he wants more.

:-)

You're a girl. You got it easy. Guys are so easy to please. But forget all that. Just let him know. You don't have to directly say, "I like you" all seriously. That'll probably make him laugh heh. Little comments here and there when he does things you think are cute, or start making more eye contact and touching. He'll eventually get the picture.

I speak my mind. If I like someone, I go up to them and...
(perhaps you should sit down for this part)

I say, "Hey, I like you more than just a friend."

Has this guy asked you out on a date? Given you a gift or even a kiss?

These are usually tall-tail signs that they like you... a lot!

When I liked a girl, back in the day,I would hold her hand and listen
to her when she a story to tell.
Tell her how much I like her and why.
Met her mom and did my best to make a good impression.
Spent time with her,and did many things with her that she enjoys.

I always try to look her in to her eyes, I give her things that I made by my own, if I feel or have the sense she feels the same I finish telling her that I like her!

Jen B, how many questions are you going to ask in the next few minutes. You sure are cranking them out.

I usually flirt with her a lot, hang out with her, and kinda stare at her a little and make sure that she doesn't have a boy friend

You talk to him. You see if he's interested in going bike riding or doing homework together. You see if he get's in your personal space when talking to you. You can't just read signs. You need to talk to him and ask if he's just being friends or is going to ask you out.
