People express themselves in different ways, and your clothing is one of the best ways to express your personality and your mood. For instance, if you're in a good mood, you might wear pastels, or if you're feeling flirty red's a good choice, if you're in a bad mood you usually go with black, and if you just don't care you'll pull out whatever your hand touches first in your closet. Sometimes people wear one certain color because it's their favorite color or it accentuates their complexion the best. Some people wear strictly black as a form of expression, or because that's their particular style. If you like Rock or Metal music, you'll most likely be wearing a lot of black. You won't likely find a pink shirt that says, "Metallica...And Justice For All". Some people who wear only black are gothic, and you can tell because they have the bleach-white faces and the heavy, dark makeup...but that's just the style their into, or the way they best feel that they can express themselves. They're not necessarily devil-worshipers. They're just different and like it that way. There's nothing wrong with that. Why be just like everyone else. That'd just be boring...and pretty scary...like a zombie movie or something. Attack of the killer copy cats! LOL!

The color of your clothes has nothing to do with your faith. I myself wear all black a lot. I am a long haired hardcore Christian biker. I walk in a hard world sometimes and from time to time hang around with hardcore outlaw bikers. My older brother is in the Warlocks motorcycle club. Myself and a few others that I ride with have been accepted by them and they know who and what we are. We look very much like they do, have many of the same interest that they have, just we profess a faith. They have come to see us as worthy of their respect. That is something not easy to earn. But they will also be the first to hold us accountable to what we claim to believe and they don't play games.

See God will use you as he found you. Why? To be a living testimony, a witness. See it is by your actions that others are judging the faith. You actions will either affirm what you claim or they will condemn it. All too often we condemn it because we don't live up to what we claim and that is what people have a hard time believing.

I reach out to bikers, that is my ministry. Others will reach out to the goths and the punks and show the light of Jesus to them. The main thing is that when you are out there that you show that there is something different about you, many will notice and some will want to know what it is. Don't try to force your beliefs on them but let your beliefs transform you. Believe me after 9 years in the biker ministry, I have seen what a difference it can make, I have stood before members of Hells Angels and I have stood in the pulpit and preached. I have been many places and seen people changed and just because of the life I lived and not the words I have said.

That remember in all things, do them for God and all people, love them as Jesus loved. That is what will change people and it will amaze you when it happens.

Don't ever let anyone tell you that if you dress in black that you are not being a Christian, because they just don't know. Only God can judge your heart.

God Bless you

It is the blackness of the heart which matters most and some people have a very black heart but don't wear black. In fact you probably work or go to school with people who are soft spoken and seem real nice for a while. In other words you cannot tell form what people wear, what is in their heart. That being said the bible says we should not conform ourselves to this world.

My oldest daughter dresses in all black, wild hair, body piercings the whole nine yards but she will be the first to witness to someone about the awesome power of God. You would be amazed how many young people will listen to her when they wont listen to anyone else. People stop and stair every where we go, she's a model so she loves the attention but be careful not to judge a book by the cover. some of theses strange dressing kids are "good" kids. I guess it's like every one else, you've got some good and some not so good.

No, they are just expressing themselves. I personally knew some people who dressed like that, and I am a muslim woman. It's only about self expression and going above the norms. They are making the statement that they will not conform to what everyone else is doing, wearing, or listening to and they are proud of it. I defend their right to to do so as long as they don't harm anybody. I kinda like that music, though. Makes you want to get up and dance. I have some of it on my iPod.

How ignorant can you get? I wear nothing but black because I hate color, not because I think it's "trendy". Scew Hot Topic whores. I simply do not like how color looks on me. I listen to all types of music, even the "goth" stuff because I like it. I don't worship the devil. I worship God, but in my own way. I'm not a satanist, but I do wish you'd learn how to type correctly.

No, devil worship has nothing to do with it. Goths are merely dressing up and playing music like that cause it's cool to them, and it annoys authority figures. If anything most Goths I have met have been atheist or Pagan.

Most of the time no, but they are stereotyped that way by society. You can't assume that every person who prefers to look Goth head to toe and is going through their (what I consider) identity crisis/growing pains is a Satanist.
