Is it just recently?? Maybe it is just panting. Cats do that like dogs but have a much higher tolerance to heat so you just dont notice...

Is this a new thing? If it's new I'd get it checked out. Otherwise, some cats just drool. Especially when they are relaxed. I had a cat who would soak my shirt when he slept on me. I had to put a towel down before I could let him in my lap.

could have sores in its mouth or it teeth may be infected tale the cat to your vet for an oral examination. he may just need antibiotics fro an infection but he may have to have his teeth cleaned an possibly have some extractions. does he have any trouble eating?if he just started drooling he may have bit inti an electrical cord and have burns or he could eaten something poisonous caustic which will cause burns no matter what the cause he needs to be seen now.

Your cat is obviously an idiot. Drooling is a sure sign.

Mine drools when he's really, really happy and relaxed, but this could also be a dental problem. I'd make sure his/her teeth are okay and if they are--you just have a happy drooly cat!.

No, you shouldn't worry. My cat drools all the time when she is purring and being caressed. I guess she is in nirvana.

You should have a vet check him just in case something is wrong. Sometimes they get tumors in their mouths that cause that. BUT it could be nothing as well. A lot cats do that because they are happy. :0)

I don't know; I've never seen a cat do that. How old is the cat ? Perhaps you should ask a veterinarian.
