I am curious about those who have animals with problems/disabilities and still love your pet(s) no matter what. I spent 80 dollars four years ago on my cat when I got her at an animal shealter. She was a stray that was laying on someone's car engine and when they started up their car, it took off her left hind leg and left ear and her left pupil stays a little more dialated than her right eye, yet her long tail is still there (amazingly). But I want stories and such, because no matter what, animals love you. And they dont let their disability slow them down. Animals dont look for pity, only love. Its an inspiration to me, really. Feel free to brag about your animal.
My cat's name is Jade, by the way.

I don't really consider her having a disability, but I just recently had to pay $800 to have her back leg amputated because of bone cancer. She only has 3 legs, but she acts normal as can be.

I had a hard time making the decision, but it was amputate or put her to sleep. She doesn't act a bit different, except she's no longer in pain. You're right, her disability has not slowed her down or seemed to affect her in anyway.

She knows how much she's loved and that's what is important. She's already 10 years old and this just came about a couple of months ago. Lots of people thought I was crazy to spend that much money on her when she is that old. She's like a kid to me though. I figure she still has at least 6 to 10 years and well worth my money.

I have a cat that is 4 years old now.Someone threw him out of a moving car after trying to skin him alive. This was out at my moms, she lives in the country. I brought the little thing home. As a friend and I was giving him a bath cutting the poop out of his fur I pulled it out & all I could see was meat. I about threw up. We got the infection rinsed out & prayed he would be ok. His teeth are all messed up. He is such a beautiful cat. Everyone in the neighborhood feeds & loves on him. He is a long hair yellow tiger cat with a white belly & paws. We named him Lenny (Leonard Skinnard). We also have a cat that just turned 1. His mother had given birth 4 other times no kittens ever lived. I brought her in to my home for her to give birth I had to deliver the 2 kittens One died about 2 months after birth. Leo is the only one that ever lived. He is a big sleak black cat (looks like a small panther) I wouldn't trade any of my animals.

I have a cat named Parker P Shaky...when he gets nervous, he shakes his head back and forth and walks like a hammerhead shark...he is kinda slow, but has never been mad...he was born this way and the vets say he is healthy.

I have a dog that survived distemper (I adopted him later)...he has a collapsed nostril and his teeth are kind of rotten from it, but he is happy and spoiled...

My old roommate has a 3 legged cat...a back leg is missing since she was a kitten...she is the most agile cat I have ever seen...you can't catch her when she runs, and she can change directions on a windowsill by doing a somersault.

I also had a one eyed cat.

Usually, that is too long for me. I think it depends on the guy as well as his face though. Certain guys can pull off long hair and others can't.
