I have used toothpaste several times cleaning a disk, just take some and spread a thin layer around it and then rinse it off with hot water and make sure all the toothpaste is gone, i usually use a cotton cloth to wipe it off and then it will work for a while longer if you do it right.

You can buy a disk cleaner at best buy or walmart, but unless the disk isfairly expensive it would be cheaper to replace the disk. The cleaner is about $15, and if it does'nt work then you're just out the $15 AND the new disk. I haven't used mine on games but I've made a lot of movies not skip etc with my cleaner.

Answered from the past on this site was to use a small amount of white tooth paste and lint free cloth and brush from center to outside .... not in circles around the disk. Remember VERY small amount. Some scratches will not ever come out ... tooo deep!

Try dishwashing liquid or toothpaste. Rinse it off with hot water and be sure not to dry with with a towel or cloth that wil make it linty.
Hope this helps!!!
