no that is not the right thing !!! u should have just grounded him and made him doo chores and clean the house all day instead of killing his dog bc now he might not forgive u for a long while !!

No, the dog did not do anything to you. Your child did so you still have not punished him. You don't get into a verbal battle with your child you need to get the upper hand and punish them. Such as grounding don't get them somthing you know they really want. All you done was take the dog out of his misery. Living in a verbally abusive household

I hope you didn't really shoot your child's dog... That was REALLY harsh. You really took it over the limit on that one. your child could have pshycolgical problems and have a deep resentment for you in the future .
