lets say u met a guy/girl on a trip
u really really like him/her
and u know u'll see each other again soon
because u hang out with the same people
but its the first time u met that person
u've only known that person for a week
but u got along great and u both like each other...
and u get the oppertunity for a first kiss
and its an hour before he/she drops u off at the airport
oh yeah and ur hiding around ur fellow travelers backs
because they're super duper good kids
and they're just not supposed to know any of that stuff is going on
and they're only a wall away in the gift shop
while u and that person r in the van alone waiting for them
so......
when u get that chance for the first kiss....

i dont know for my first kisses with guys
like its start as a gentel kiss on the lips than we look into eachothers eyes and kiss constently (i mean french kissing now not like the first one)

when you have your first kiss. it shouldnt just be with anybody. u should wait for the right time, with the right person. u'll feel it in your heart how long it should last. the last thing u want to think about while your kissing someone is numbers:). and you shouldnt take your first kiss over more than a first kiss. one step at a time you dont have to move so fast.

Yeah, take the chance if you got the chance. My first kiss only lasted for a few seconds, but it was so romantic the way that it happened.

I didn't read that Harlequin novel you posted, but to answer your question, it should feel right, and while it's feeling right, you should just enjoy it, and if it stops feeling right, just stop, look in the guy's eyes meaningfully and smile. Then he'll say something that you can respond to and you can go on from there.
