Does she like me or him?

Question

I like this girl at my school. I told her I like her, and she admitted to liking me too. Her sister tells me that she really likes me. We text eachother all the time and she admits to liking me when I ask her.

At school she seems a bit shy around me though. She doesn't talk that much. But there is this other guy at my school who flirts with her. Actually, he flirts with everyone.

She laughs at his jokes and punches him on the arm. I teasingly texted her "(The guy who's flirting with her) likes her." She said "No, he doesn't. Why do you think so?" and I replied "Because he flirts with you all the time." And she replied "He flirts with everyone."

She knows he's flirting with her. Yet she claims to like me. Could they be just friends, or does she just not take him seriously? I feel kinda bad that she might actually like him and not me.

If she says she likes you, why don't you start taking her out? It happens very often that women say they like guys they don't. Also, young girls change their minds in an instant. Don't keep asking her if she likes you, because it sounds like you're insecure. Just start hanging out with her and you'll see if she likes you as much as she says. Asking her if she likes him is also a weak move, because it shows that you are worried about this other guy. Just don't mention it again. Maybe she still has enough respect for you to date you, but I must say that I have my doubts. There's always other girls, though, so it's cool. Good luck!

From my experiences, being shy around someone you like at school is extremely common. She's probably most flirtatious around the guy who flirts with everyone for just that! If he flirts with everyone, most girls probably flirt back jokingly, so if she flirts, then it wouldn't seem out of the ordinary. My advice is to calm down, cause she most likely likes you. =P

She does like you in my opinion, but you have to do something about it. I think that she is being so friendly with this other guy to make you jealous, if she said that she likes you then she does, but she is waiting for you! She won't wait forever, so go for it! The same thing happened to me, I liked a guy, and both he and I knew it, but I flirted with someone else just like the girl u are talking about. Finally one day he asked me out, and I said YES. By continuing to ask her if she likes you or if she likes him or maybe this other guy likes her, you come across as a bit insecure. Women don't particularly like insecure. Don't discuss this any more with her. Instead, act like you know she likes you, or better yet, act like you know she is 110% in love with you. You'll come across as more confident, and this is typically the #1 thing girls look for in a guy. This is why women tend to like 'bad-boy' types. They always exude confidence.
