I have to ask the question. What happens next? It is obvious that a tiny bit is being done to pacify us until elections. Who, how or what is paying for the detention centers? Why can't they just be extradited? When someone commits a crime in CA and gets caught in TX they are held for "pick up". Why can't we save all the BUILDING and "hold for pick up"?

I didn't know this was being done but I was wondering why they wouldn't do something like this. We have to have somewhere to put these people because we didn't take care of it long ago before it got out of control. I think they should just be put in prison and pay the time for the crimes they are
committing. Maybe that will deter them from coming over here rather than them knowing they will simply be put back across the border and be free to sneak back in again.

I agree, ship them back and build a electrical wall, that should stop them from coming back in. Hire more border patrol and high tech surveillance equipment. That's a good start.
