Not all Americans living abroad are felons. Alot are people who just might of overstayed a student visa or vistors visa.

It has a lot to do with the laws pertaining to illegals in the respective countries. I don't know for sure, but I would venture to say that many if not most American illegals abroad are fugitives from justice, possibly facing serious charges and possibly death if sent back home...that being the case some countries (such as mexico) will not deport or extradite such felons.

Deport them back to the states!!!!! Most likely some of them are wanted for some type of crime anyways. Alot of American criminals that can afford too, skip out of the country to go live in Europe. Send them back to us so we can deal with them!!

Jail or deportation. Many Latin American countries consider illegal immigrants felons anyway, including Mexico. We don't want them here and others don't want them in their country.

What. Please, they should be glad someone wants to live over there, down there, up there, where ever there maybe.

Americans are usually in it for the money and can probably just visit another country or have no problem returning to the USA.
People working abroad are usually Doctors, nurses, bankers, traders teachers. Basically those with professions.

Well that depends on the laws of each individual country. Laws are made for a reason and should be enforced or what is the point. That's why we are in the mess we are in now.

Send them home. Then let them try it legally if they 'love' Europe/Latin America so much. Of course..... many of those countries have stricter punishment than the U.S..............
