I am babysitting my aunt's dog, and she is jack russel. And she is 4 years old. Well anyways, I would like to teach her to play some fun games so we could bond more.

Do you have a big yard or house? I throw my dog a toy down the stairs or somewhere outside and when he goes to get it I run and hide. My dog is kinda stupid so I have to call for him and he trys to find me. He loves it and it is so funny to see him looking around. If it is a bloodhound or something it might not work. Regular catch is always fun too.

My dog didn't like this big blue yoga ball we have so I would throw it in the yard and he would chase it out until he reached his electric fence. It was so cute. I have a yellow lab so he is pretty active. How big is a jack russel?

ball is always a good way to run off some energy. Making the dog learn and do tricks for treats. I take a small bite of treat, and put it under a box or toy and make the dog search for it. Just involving the dog in anything that you are doing, walking, watching TV,reading

I think my beagle likes to play "hands" more than anything. Just gentle slappies close to the face so she can kinda yappy at you hand in a playful way as you pull your hand away. repeatedly! my dog has loved this best for years. esp. if she earns a treat when we're done! Cheap thrills!

Well if she is anything like my Labs...In the morning you could play "who the heck has my pillow"? And then go running all over the house and pick up the pieces. Not fun when your not a morning person and your neck is killing you.

Just go buy one of those CUZ thingies...The ball with the feet...lots of fun...and noise.

Fetch! It's always a hit. My puppy likes to go get the toy (his fave is a plush golf club cover) and then I have to chase him and try to get it off him. Loads of fun for him, very tiring for me, but as long as his tail's wagging, who cares!

Try acting like another dog! I've done it with my dog, it's fun!

One game my dachshund and I love to play is "Where's the treat?" I show her a treat, and tell her to sit. Then I let her watch me hide it. Then, after a few seconds I say, "Where's the treat?" And she goes to find it.

one of my dogs likes to sing his favorite song (the woo hoo song from the Vonage commerical)...whenever it comes on, my boyfriend and I sing along with the dog... so, I recommend finding a fun song that your aunt's dog likes to sing...
