I've seen on tv that when you get a tummy tuck, they make you a new belly button, so I guess you could just get skin put over it. I think a belly button is something you need.

Yes you can. A friend of my mine had a baby boy that had some problems and needed to have his stomach operated on. After the operation he had no belly button just a scar. They said when he gets older, you won't be able to tell anything was there at all.

My mother had 4 c-sections with having us kids and this was back in the day that they'd cut you vertically from your pelvis to right above your belly button (no little bikini cuts for her). She has no belly button. It was cut through so many times and stiched up so many times that it's just a scar on her belly and no indent. To answer your question, in a way, yes.

Na, it grows back. Its the same with fingertips, there was this criminal dude who always got caught coz he left finger prints everywhere, so he went and got the ends of his fingers surgically removed, but they kept growin back.
It is the same with belly buttons.
As proof of this I saw a tv show the other day about people going to extremes to change their bodies and this girl thought she woud look hot with out a belly button so she got it cut out and about a month later it had grown back.

Yes it can be done but why would she want to and why is it so very important for her to know? It would definitely be expensive. My hubby had surgery to repair a hernia that was at his belly button. He had been an "inny" until the hernia and was then an "outie" for several years. The surgeon repaired it and now it's an "inny" again- but it was expensive.

Talk to a cosmetic surgeon ("plastic surgeon") about it. My guess would be that, with all the wonders of modern medical technology, something should be possible. If one doc won't deal with it, keep asking until you find one who will at least address the issue. Good luck!

Yeah you could. I mean it has like what....no purpose at all. Just like on the tv show Kyle Xy. He can do it if he wants but still, why would you wanna spend money on something that is useless?.

You could probably have it changed somehow by a surgeon, but it's a really bad idea to do it yourself.
