Interesting and thought provoking question. I would die before denouncing the name of Jesus. However, I think it is worth saving that Jesus wants us to LIVE for him. To die for the Lord may be the easiest feat a Christian can, in fact, do. It is the day-to-day LIVING for the Lord that is the greatest challenge to any Christian's faith. It is also worth saying that we denounce the name of Jesus everyday in our actions to the contrary of his word. Denouncing the name of Jesus can occur not just in the verbalization of "I denounce Jesus" but in the things we say (or don't say) everyday which would reveal our commitment (or lack their of) to Him.
