Yes, number of years is not the matter. I had my after after 17 years. When I saw him he was already a married man. We found out that we actually love each other on our first sight only 17 years later. We kept our love foreach other so patiently and queitly for that many years. Now, we are both married. Few months ago a get in-touch again and it burst into eternal flame.

I've repeatedly heard stories of high school sweethearts getting together after divorce or a death and both are retired. It is almost a cliche.
