No, I don't think it's depression, just good old boredom.
You are used to going to work everyday. Now that you are off for a couple days, the houseworks done, and there's nothing left to do.
Enjoy your time! Pretty soon, you will be back to the hustle and bustle of working and wish u had more of a vacation!

The two most significant symptoms of depression are:
Sadness or hopelessness.
Loss of interest in or pleasure from most daily activities.
Other symptoms include:
Losing or gaining weight because of changes in appetite.
Sleeping too much or not enough.
Feeling restless and unable to sit still, or feeling that moving takes a great effort.
Feeling tired all the time.
Feeling unworthy or guilty without an obvious reason.
Having problems concentrating, remembering, or making decisions.
Thinking often about death or suicide.
If you have at least five of these symptoms for 2 weeks or longer, and one of the symptoms is either sadness or loss of interest, you are diagnosed with major depression. But, if you have fewer than five symptoms, you may still be depressed and need treatment.
been there and treating it now good luck

It could definitly be depression. I have struggled with depression for a couple of years and have often felt like you do, sometimes I will be depressed for a day and then be completely happy the next day, so you may just wake up tommorrow and be over it...so my advice to you would be that if doesn't go away fairly soon then see someone about it before it gets even worse. Depression is not something ot play around with...it will ruin your life if you let it but there are ways to deal with and overcome it. If you need someone to talk to feel free to im me on yahoo s/n madameblueberry2001 or email me :)

No, you don't sound depressed, you just sound listless.
Try starting your day with a plenty of rest, then a good breakfast and a little exercise. A good start may help motivate you and shake off that lethargy!
If that doesn't work, set a goal for yourself. Decide that you will go shopping tomorrow DEFINITELY unless you are inspired to do something else that strikes you as more fun. The trick is to get moving. Once you do, you'll tend to keep moving!

You could just be bored, that happens to everyone. It seems when you are REALLY bored and theres stuff to do you don't want to do them because you have no energy. I would give it some more time and see if the feeling goes away. Believe it or not it could just be because you are off of work.

Maybe it is, maybe it isn't, but having low motivation is not the only symptom of depression... you would be DEPRESSED as well, in misery. Clinical depression HURTS the mind and the soul and the spirit. It doesn't sound like you are in this kind of distress. What do you think? Of course if you have any doubts, see a doctor for a formal diagnosis.

well it could be depression...or it could be the weather ( heat causes this problem in most people, I'm actually having the same thing right now )...could be allergies..could just be your tired mentally and your body is just taking some time off....if you can't think of anything to do, sit back call some friends over, have a cold drink and just chill for a bit..

If you feel like you've lost interest in things that you once took joy in, and it seems like nothing matters, then, yes, it could be depression, take it from someone who knows, i was depressed and i went to a therapist (against my will) but it really helped to talk about things that were bothering me, i also was put on medication, which made the depression denigrate. Just talk to someone you love and see what they say.Good luck.

Relax Relate Release. I had a week off, I didn't do anything. It felt great, but you gotta do something at least one day. So grab your friends and go to the beach.
