I also, love cat's and kitten's! I do agree that a lot of people are allergic, but my husband and dad doesn't like cats either. They do not like cats in the house because they shed and the litter box smell. I know that is the reason a lot of people say that they do not like cat's. What I hate is people that get kitten's and then when the kitten grows into a cat they throw them out or send them to the animal shelter. I think this is very cruel. But I wish I could have several if my husband did not object.

A lot of people don't like cats because they are very independent. The main reason alot of people get pets is for company and sometimes cats are the best choice for company since they are so independent.
Another reason is they can get just about everywhere in your house unless you try to put up some boundaries, which is really hard to do.

However I love cats because they are so independent and I envy their ability to go where ever and do whatever they want.

I didn't think that soo many people hated cats. A lot of people own them. I wish I had one, but I can't right now. They are one of the most facinating animals on earth. And most of them are friendly and warm.

I love kitties too, yes they are adorable. :)

Some people are either superstitious of them or they think they are aggrevating because they feel that they are sneaky animals.

I suppose that is right because the other night, I was fixing porkchops, I turned my back and my cat jumped on the counter and tried to drag one away. LOL! Of course he got in trouble, but at the same time I thought it was funny. :)

they aRe adorable! especially kittens. Having a cat to go back home to cheers me up after a hard day at work. Unlike dogs, cats are snuggly and nice to hold and stroking their fur just makes me calm and peaceful. I dont really like dogs, cos of their licking tongue and sometimes i'm kinda afraid of the big dogs, afraid that suddenly they'll bite or growl.

I have 3 cats cats that I love very much, but they jump on the counters and bring fleas into my house. That's 2 reasons.

I love cats too, but for the most part here are a couple reasons I personally get mad at my own cat: her hunting mice and birds and bringing them in the house, the fact she takes her food out of her dish puts it on the floor and then eats it, she gets her kitty-litter everywhere, she sheds, she also cries constantly at night, and she also loves to tear the carpet, couches, and wallpaper to shreads. but yes.... i cant stay mad at her forever with that adorable face of hers.
