Uh...Sorry to say, but if you watch the news, or anything else on Tv--You'll notice Christians DO criticize other beliefs. But, that does go for everyone.
Boring question......

Several people have commented on the lack of answers from Christians when it comes to serious matters of interpretation/application of their faith.
But talk about gay marriage and they can't crawl out of the woodwork fast enough to condemn a harmless minority.
I think your idea that "most Christians don't..." lacks merit, here. Most Christians are not here for serious discussion about Christianity, or its application in the real world. Most Christians seem to be here to witness and to quote verse (often irrelevant to the question).
Perhaps when "most Christians" decide to use this forum for serious questions rather than as an opportunity to parade their 'faith' you'll find fewer detractors.
If people make a spectacle of their piety, expect a few clowns to show up ;-)

I understand how you're feeling. I get annoyed for the same reason you do. People have no proof that God isn't real. So I really don't know why they say it. If they somehow obtained strong evidence that they're right, then it would be better. But I doubt God will ever let people find evidence like that. I believe in God! Thank you for posting this!

Well I dont mind some of the atheists or anti-christian comments/questions. What I dont like are the sexual comments and the comments where people say Christians believe something and they don't. I think those that throw out the hateful and perverted questions and statements need serious professional help and I think non believers should ask believers if they really believe something before saying stupid things like "well Christians worship Paul!!" or "Christians believe Satan planted dinosaur bones to tempt them into disbelief!" because none of those things are true.

true, true. but realize Christians also "make rude comments" about their beliefs. did you know all religions ( except Scientology, their uh... ... messed up) are exactly the same, but they each have only one key difference from the rest? Jews believe in all but Jesus, forget that an their the same as catholics and Christians and all them. Islams believe in Allah and Muhammad, but Allah translated into English is the exact same god we believe in, and mu hammed is that other key difference. all religions are 1 factor away from being the same so "making rude comments" about Christianity is making rude comments about every religion.
anyway good for u, putting us all into 1 group and yelling at us with hatred for doing the wrong thing, even though we all didn't do it, ms. Hitler. why did i say that? cause Hitler put Jews into 1 group and spit on the with hate for doing the wrong thing, even though they all didn't do it.
you have to watch what you say.

Yeah I read it, no where is my prize. Ok...I head half...half a prize.
Let me bring something to your attention... You don't like that we say that god isn't real? At least that isn't mean and nasty. At least if you are a believer maybe it will challenge you to be strong and stronger in your faith. I have saved some comments people have made to non believers, have a look!
To a question of best part of being atheist
*i bet the best part is burning for eternity in hell. just a guess.
*going to hell
*I guess the "asshole" part.
Other random things to non believers
*NO, it's NOT ok, to HELL with YOU!
*Haha creature, thats something i would say :)
*Ann Coulter will help us get rid of the atheist problem we have
*Atheist Rule in HELL!
*If you do not repent, God have mercy on your soul.
*Non-Christians hate the message of love because it is impossible to use, abuse, exploit and murder people whom you are supposed to love.
Would you like to tell us that what we say is so bad again? You say our comments are rude? Are those?? If we put up with nasty remarks like that, I think you can put up with us expressing our belief since it is no different then all the people that express theirs by saying "God is real!" "I'm a Christian!" and so on... Given the above comments, and there is TONS just like that posted everyday on this site...I think you can deal with ours if we have to deal with yours.

Thank you so much for this question. I feel the same way you do. I don't mind a healthy debate or a question and answer that pertains to the Bible, but this constant Christian bashing is out of control. I think we are dealing with the child mentality here and that's really not what this is for. I would call that abuse of a privilage.

I understand how you feel but I've often heard that the only people who don't believe in God are those who are still seeking. Christians don't have to say anything because we are no longer seeking. We have found what we know to be true and while we are happy to share the joy we've found in Jesus, we don't need attention seeking behavior because we are fulfilled.

I hate to tell you this, but I've seen Christians making fun of other people's religions and being quite rude about it. It's not all of them by any means. Actually everyone needs to learn to be more respectful of differing viewpoints and faiths or lack thereof.

Take a reality check and get your head out of the sand.
Stop believing everything you hear and are told. If you want to believe in myths, fables and other things that cannot be proved, that's your business.
The rest of us have every right to our beliefs, too, and if Christians try to cram their beliefs down our throat and tell us how to live, then we are quite naturally going to say something in return.

Because atheists are very defensive about their beliefs (or UNbeliefs). Why even come to the religion section if you have no religious beliefs? Atheists say they're such nice people but the only reason they could even be here is to cause trouble.
