Yeah, you are right about the casualty ratio, however I do not believe that Israel is seeking civilians to attack. The facts are this; half of Lebanon sympathize with Hezbollah or are their supporters. Many choose not to leave the hot spots and wind up dead. The rest of the casualties are collateral damage because of their proximity to Hezbollah positions as they (Hezbollah) fire on the Israeli's.
There's not much anyone can do if the Lebanese decide to fore go the refugee camps and stay in the hot spots instead.

You are missing the part where the noble Hezbollah holy warriors are hiding among and behind women and children....and Lebanese civilians that are too stupid to realize that Hezbollah rockets being fired from their chimney might be a bit dangerous to their well being. The infrastructure damage is merely Israels attempt to cut off the supply of weapons from Syria. Too many people fail to realize that Israel is fighting a sub-human culture and religion that cant think much better than an ape. Collateral damage is going to happen when you have ?people? who have the same IQ as a hunk of styrofoam.

Yes. You are missing the numerous civilian Israeli casualties injured and killed by the rockets that Hezbollah indiscriminately fires at civilian targets in Israel. Israel responds by attacking known Hezbollah strongholds and sometimes kills or injures the civilians that the Hezbollah cowards hide behind.

Hezbollah operates from homes, schools, mosques, and other public places. Using civilians as shields is a war crime.
Every rocket Hezbollah fires is specifically aimed at civilians.

It is a war. You are missing information in the fact you are not there. Do you really think the Israelis would attack civilians just b/c? I don't think so. They are not sadistic. You are only hearing what the news is saying. They probably had information that extremists were hiding out in this area and it was probably true.
That is a dangerous area and the fighting is a tragedy. But when you have two civilizations who think they each have a right to what the other has and they can't get along and this belief was ingrained in their respective psyches from birth. What are you going to do?
Imagine LA Gangs and increase that to two countries. 100% of the death is senseless and a shame. But, they just don't agree and there is not a lot of land over there. Both sides are a passionate people and they both believe they are right.
Imagine living next door with nothing but a fence between you and your neighbor and you hated them like nothing you've ever hated b/f and they sent someone into your yard, with a bomb strapped to their body and it blew up your wife and child and your dog.

Yes you are missing something. Israel is trying to protect their civilians. Hezbollah is firing their rockets from Lebanese civilian homes knowing that Israel will attack that home. Hezbollah is using civilians as a shield and propaganda tool.

It's war and people die. Not to sound cruel or inhumane but those civilians have been letting Hezbollah live in and around them with no problems. Fully knowing what they were eventually going to do and what they stand for. So they might not be as innocent as you think. If someone set up rocket launchers in your neighborhood and were not part of your governments military and you did nothing about it would not that make you part of the problem??

Your question is wrong, Israel attacks Hezbollah. The Lebanese civilians are not purposely targeted. It is called collateral damage.
