We use so very many clumsy words; the noise of what we often say is not worth being heard. When the Father's wisdom wanted to communicate His love, he spoke it in one final perfect word. He spoke the incarnation and so was born the Son. His final word was Jesus; He needed no other one. For flesh and blood he completed to make a way for life. And so was born the baby who would die to make Him mine. The Father's fondest thought took on flesh and bone. He spoke the final word. Jesus. He needed no other to make the light become man. He stepped into time so we could understand. Jesus died for you. Would you walk away from the cross that was made from the sins of the world?

I certainly hope I wouldn't then, but his followers were few and many were weak.As we know it was his purpose, as he said No one taketh my life I lie it down. The hard thing to do today would be to do nothing and watch as Gods plan unfolds. Today, millions would try to stop it and they would be wrong.

Personally no I would not crucify him again to a cross… though many of us do daily, in the way we speak, think, act, and believe!!

Thankfully when Christ does return again… He will be coming back as the Lion: not the Lamb!! As the ‘Victor’: not the ‘Victim’!!

But putting, metaphorically speaking, the Son of God to one side for a moment… If a Jesus ‘Type’ came to earth… just as if an ‘Alien’ landed on earth, with his/her wonderful flying saucer: Both, I believe: would not be alive: or at least ‘FREE’, for too long!!

Look around you… People have a tendency these days to kill, destroy, or lock away: those/or that, which they do not know, understand, nor comprehend!! The alien, and the ship, would be torn apart and dissected, bit by tiny bit: to find the what, where, when, why, how: and then discarded like yesterdays news!!

Sound familiar & about right?

Crucify Jesus again? You mean fall away from the faith and live a life characterized by sin? Not!!!

"For it is impossible to restore again to repentance those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, if they then fall away, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. Hebrews 6:4-6

"For if we go on sinning deliberately after receiving the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a fearful expectation of judgment, and a fury of fire that will consume the adversaries. Anyone who has set aside the law of Moses dies without mercy on the evidence of two or three witnesses. How much worse punishment, do you think, will be deserved by the one who has spurned the Son of God, and has profaned the blood of the covenant by which he was sanctified, and has outraged the Spirit of grace? For we know him who said, "Vengeance is mine; I will repay." And again, "The Lord will judge his people." It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:26-31

Well supposedly the Crucifixion was part of the plan in the beginning and was something that Jesus needed to have done.

Logically, if He were to come back under the same conditions it would seem reasonable to help him out again.

I live I live because He is risen
I live I live with power over sin
I live I live because He is risen
I live I live to worship Him

Because He lives I can face tomorrow
Because He lives all fear is gone
Because I know who holds the future
And life is worth the living just because He lives.

I trusted the Lord Jesus 37 years ago.

How marvellous, how wonderful
And my song shall ever be
How marvellous how wonderful
Is my Saviour's love for me.

It was for me in the garden
He prayed 'Not my will but thine'
He had no tears for His own grief
But sweat drops of blood for mine

Thank you Jesus!

No - I couldn't stand the thought of Cherie Blair getting another big earner in the Human Rights Court.

This question is based on the assumption that I've crucified Jesus at least one time previously, so I cannot answer this question with a simple "yes" or "no".

You may as well ask "Have you stopped beating your spouse yet?"

It had to be done. If there was no sacrifice on Jesus's part, he would not have been able to bring about salvation. I'd do it, but I'd hate myself in the morning.
