I do not have production totals, but I do know that the WE series completely dissappeared for the 1968 Coronet lineup.
The next Coronet in the lineup was the 440 model. It added some fancier trim to the exterior, carpet to the interior, and finer upholstery appointments. While a WH41 four door sedan was available, the two door variant was not a sedan like the WL21 cars, it was instead, a hardtop, with a WH23 designation. The WH27 two door convertible was also available as were the WH41 four door sedan, and the WH45 and WH46 six and nine passenger station wagons. I think some of the W41's were police cars.
Here are some sites that may help you.

Chrysler really made things confusing. Although they had an engine called the 440, they also had a specific model of the Coronet called the Coronet 440, which often did not have the 440 engine. The Coronet 440 was usually the trim level one step up from the no-option Coronets made for fleet use.

An ammeter exams contemporary circulate. that's what it is designed for! If the automobile isn't working, then you are drawing contemporary from the battery, a discharge subject. THen the ammeter will instruct "-" needle to the left in case you're working any electric accessory. The greater issues you turn on the greater contemporary you're employing and the greater the needle will deflect to the unfavourable. despite if, if the engine is working, the needle would desire to be interior the constructive section (in many cases to the dazzling) indicating that contemporary is being drawn from the alternator somewhat than the battery. Ammeters are solid issues because of fact if your alternator fails or yourpersistent belt breaks (for the alternator) the ammeter will right this moment instruct a discharge subject. in comparison to a voltmeter which will only inform you the voltage it particularly is interior the equipment. They stopped putting them in automobiles because of greater cost of working the heavy twine required between the battery and the ammeter.
