unfortunately it does happen quite often over here. there are alot of reasons for it and none of them are good reasons. Stressed out from convoys and going into villages, finding out that your signifigant other is cheating on you, get divorce papers in the mail. If they would just go and talk to someone it would help but alot of soldiers won't go to the chaplain because then you have to go to mental health for a lot of mettings.

It unfortunately happens too much. I could tell you stories of what I have personally seen, but that would take too much time. It is sad when someone pledges their love and support and gives in so quickly. They should do the right thing wait for him to return home and have some time off to talk. I don't want to hear this crap about wasting their time and life, what about the Soldier?? Too many people are that shallow, and to think they bask in the sun, relax, go on vacation because of their freedom at the cost of many, many Service Men and Women.

It's sad and unfortunately it's not unique during wartime. I don't personally know of suicides per se but what often happens is a guy will get a "dear john" letter and just stop caring. They'll get careless, or be bolder than they need to be. Sometimes friends can pull them through, sometimes not. It's just one of those things. Now to politicallyp...who wants to make some political issue out of it and a reason to criticize America as not valuing life, YOU NEED TO GET ONE YOURSELF. People like you use any excuse to attack this administration, this war, and this country. You don't have any legitimate issues so you try to twist any circumstance into something to "blame" on this country and I'm sick of it.

Yes, very sad that people die in war. People also die every day of other causes. Especially children who didn't deserve to die or suffer. One day al of this cruelty will be over and we'll all be extinct on a dead planet that didn't deserve to die either. So cheer-up with some children and have a nice day.
