Anger is a legitimate expression of your own self; it's way to manifest discomfort or to stand up for your dignity. You can use it either to reaffirm your self in a constructive way or to destroy those around you.
Israel is right at being angry because of Hezbollah's constant threats and attacks, but it's sinning because it's reaction is destroying an entire country and deepening hatred among the nations.

Get angry with sin. Its a righteous anger - we dislike sin in ourselves and others when we are born again. Yes, but sin not!
Don't take revenge - pray for that person instead.

If you finish that quote it says....let not the sun go down on your wrath.
We are to search out what the anger is about and have a peace of God before we go to bed.
Usually if we don't then our mind goes on how to retaliate and the word of God says....vengeance is mine thus saith the Lord.

It is okay to be angry. Just do not lash out at the person, or try to get even, in your anger.

be angry but do not forsake ur values ... be angry but dont curse someone ... be angry but stop short of throwing away ur values and acting on it in a vengeful manner. when someone at work has been down on you and maybe said some things about you behind your back that angered you ... dont start spreading rumors about them or when you do see the opportunity to "get them back good" remember who you are. Jesus said do good to them that despitefully use you and persecute you. . forgive them.

Well, By that he meant by angry at people you know jus be totally mad at them. But, just don't........ For example. My best best friend, Zach was shot and killed by his 12 year old best friend. At the age of 10, two weeks before his birthday. I just wished it was all a nightmare. It happened while is was on vacation. I came back and none of it felt real. Anyway, what he meant by that was just because Zach made him mad and angry. There was no reason to kill him. Be angry and be mad. But, just dont do anything you'll regret. Or anything Karma will get back at you for.

I would say use anger constructively, instead of doing something foolish.

It's okay to be angry as long as we don't do something stupid or wrong.
