Depending on where the "discomfort" is in the stomach area. Lower right quad of the stomach can be an appendix, lower left can be a hernia (well either lower quad actually but mainly the left) right in the middle lower quad can be anything from a simple stomach ache to food poisoning to Diverticulitous, crones or IBS. The advise I can give would to be stay on a BRAT (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast) diet for 2-4 days and see if the pain relieves. If they do not I would go see a doctor for some test (white bloodcell count & possible lower GI) Only way to truely find out is by seeing a Doc...not on the net...Good Luck with it and I hope ya feel better soon!

sounds like it's just gas - the pressure from the air in your stomach/intestines can cause pain and nausea or vomiting if it's fairly serious. I would try simethicone (Gas-X) over the counter to try and break up the air and move it out of your system..you need to also look at your diet to see if that's the cause. If it continues or becomes very painful or if your bowel movements are abnormal, you need to see your doc.

Drink plenty of water and take a laxative. Once you get it out you should be alright. My wife had that problem for like a week and it didn't go away until she got it out.

sounds like you have a gastrointestinal virus, eat light, tea, jello, dry toast, I would stay away from milk products for a few days, drink white soda.
