I'm sure your weight is just fine, and your mom was wrong for talking about your weight, she should support you. I'm sorry to hear you have struggled with anorexia too. In our society people are so concerned about their weight and people don't take the time to get to know the person. I wish you good luck, 16 is such a hard age but it does get better.

You can legally volunteer yourself for inpatient care. It is a good idea, to do this. Your mom might not understand, but I would say that now is the time to go get elp, while you are a minor, and wont be held responsible for the bill.

There are good counselors there who can really help you deal with the problem, and attack it head on.

Call your local hospital for more information, they can really help.

You DO NOT need to worry about your weight. You should NEVER listen to what other people say about your body! The only thing that is important is what you think and if you think you need a change then change it but chances are you DO NOT need to lose anymore weight if you are anorexic. START EATING and GET HELP if you need it! And always remember that Jesus can help you! He loves you!

if you can't find someone online to talk to, consider talking to your school nurse or counselor - they will respect your privacy and be a good ear for you...they may even have some great resources and suggestions to help you get through this.
