sleep on her back, don't chew gum, rinse with hydrogen peroxide
go to a dentist and get an x-ray to check for a cavity, and floss.

Seeing a dentist pronto is the best and only sensible remedy. Sometimes an NSAID can give some temporary relief if the toothache is caused by an abscess. There are several: Aleve and Motrin come to mind at the moment. Be sure to take the max dosage and take them regularly as directed on the package.

If it is hurting that bad get her to a dentist now the longer you wait the worse and more expensive it will be. When the gel wont work it is because it has gotten to the nerve. And it can also be infected and the teeth being so close to the brain and heart can have major consequences,

My mom had a really bad tooth ache a while back, and the side of her face was swollen from the bad tooth. We had to make a dentist appointment. So I guess that's what you'll have to do.

Go to the dentist. My mom had a toothache once, and she ended up needing to get a root canal. Your mom probably has a toothache for a reason, a reason only a dentist can fix. Go to a dentist, even if you don't think she needs one, just ot be safe!

Take her to the dentist. Other than that Tylenol or advil. It could be infected which could cause serious health issues. If she can't afford a dentist, most cities have clinics that can help those without insurance or money. Call some dentists in your area and they may be able to refer you.

Just go to the dentist ...that helps a lot... if not tell her to get a zip of vodka and keep it on the tooth....that should help a little ...

She needs to go to the dentist. Anything else will only be a quick fix.

I think a visit to the dentist is definitely the next step.
