no the windex will scratch the eye and will affect the cats vision.

If you're worried about the harshness of Windex try just a mixture of vinegar and water. 1 part vinegar to 2 parts of water.

Where did you find this cat? A hardware store?
Windex dries quickly, no leaky unless you wash it while it's in the socket.
Try buying one of those small wireless webcams and get a cat's eye view to show the rest of us.

Just dry it off really good before putting it back in and he will be just fine. Since he has a glass eye, I don't think he will be able to see out of it very well even if you wash it, but you know...you could try. I suppose he has a rubber bottom too and when he goes to sit down he bounces.

I had a lion with that problem mom washed it with soap and water and popped it back in. The Tigger and Roo just had buttons for eyes cause I lost the original ones
